Spatial crowdsourcing task allocation algorithm for fine-grained emergency material distribution

Abstract

The last-mile delivery of emergency supplies represents the final phase of the entire rescue operation and is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of the entire rescue effort. To address the fine-grained task allocation of emergency material distribution, this paper proposed a game-theoretic task allocation algorithm based on K-means clustering. This algorithm ensured that all tasks were assigned within a tolerable time while minimizing the number of workers. Then it designed a delay update optimization strategy to further improve the operational efficiency of the algorithm. Finally, conducting experiments on a real dataset, it demonstrates that the proposed algorithm reduces the number of workers by 38%, 28%, and 10% compared to the random task allocation algorithm, the greedy task allocation algorithm, and the K-means clustering task allocation algorithm, respectively. By integrating the delay update optimization strategy, a 12.5% increase in operational efficiency is achieved on top of the optimal allocation result, validating the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed algorithm.
