Query rewriting model based on knowledge graph construction and entity correction

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of entity errors in query of AI dialogue systems, which often lead to dialogue friction. The existing query rewriting model based on knowledge graph lacks self-learning ability and has poor cross-domain adaptability in professional domain. To address the above problems, a query rewriting model based on knowledge graph construction and entity correction (QR-KGCEC) is proposed. The model dynamically constructs dialogue-specific knowledge graphs by using historical dialogue information to correct entity errors. It combines an error span detection module and a correct entity prediction module to improve query rewriting accuracy. A self-learning mechanism is introduced to continuously update the knowledge graph and optimize entity prediction during dialogue, enhancing adaptability to new entities and cross-domain scenarios. Experimental results show that QR-KGCEC significantly outperforms existing models such as KG-ECO and gUFS-QR. Specifically, it improves the correct trigger rate by 159.8% on the New York Times dataset and by 131% on the NewsKG21 dataset. Ablation experiments further demonstrate the effectiveness of each model component and the overall performance improvements.
