Multi-objective cooperative scheduling optimization for truck-drone systems in earthquake emergency rescue operations

Abstract

This paper addresses the earthquake emergency rescue problem by proposing a rescue area division strategy for low-risk and high-risk zones. A multi-truck-multi-drone collaborative scheduling model was developed, and a mixed-integer programming model was formulated with the objectives of maximizing rescue satisfaction and minimizing total path length. Given the NP-hard nature of the model, a multi-objective optimization algorithm based on a novel memory-backtracking strategy was introduced. This algorithm integrates memory mechanisms and multi-stage search strategies to enhance local search capability and improve global search efficiency through an improved Metropolis criterion. Experimental results demonstrate the algorithm's effectiveness, showing significant advantages over several benchmark algorithms. The proposed method improves solution set convergence and diversity. Additionally, sensitivity analysis of disaster scale and drone quantity offers a new solution for earthquake relief material scheduling.
