Abstract

Traditional centralized copyright transfer schemes suffer from low transparency, inefficiency, and security vulnerabilities. Semi-fungible token (SFT) technology enables divisible assets to be represented on-chain, but existing models cannot support division and merging of copyright rights or collaborative management among multiple rights holders. To address these limitations, a semi-fungible token for copyright (SFT-C) was designed to achieve precise on-chain mapping of copyright structures and adaptive division and merging of rights. Based on this model, the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) was integrated to build the Secure Copyright Transfer Chain (SCTC) , a complete scheme supporting multi-party collaborative management of copyright assets. Experimental results show that SCTC achieves throughput for copyright registration and transfer that exceeds market demand by factors of 4.07 and 3.04. Compared with three mainstream SFT mapping methods—script-parameter, metadata, and SVG embedding—SCTC demonstrates better performance in gas consumption, execution time, and block-space efficiency. These results indicate that SCTC offers practical value for real-world copyright management and transfer.
