Method for key element extraction based on hierarchical context enhancement and knowledge base

Abstract

Aiming at problems such as difficulty in capturing cross-sentence semantic dependencies and lack of domain knowledge integration in key element extraction for Cognitive Electronic Warfare (CEW) equipment test scheme design, researchers conducted research on key element extraction methods and proposed a key element extraction method based on hierarchical context enhancement and knowledge base (Hierarchical Context Enhancement with Knowledge Base, HCE-KB) . The method first adopted task-aware rule templates and position priors to generate high-recall candidate elements, used BERT to construct hierarchical semantic representations and complete semantic ranking, and relied on a domain knowledge base to carry out consistency checking and re-ranking, thereby improving the standardization and usability of extraction results. Experimental results show that on a CEW dataset with 3, 400 annotated samples, the method increases the F1 score by 20 percentage points and improves processing speed by a factor of 2.25 compared with MDERank, which verifies the effectiveness and engineering application value of the method.
