CP-decomposition-based latent representation network with channel-attention mechanism and randomized PID optimization strategy

Abstract

To address the problem of missing pixel estimation in digital images, this study developed a sparse image reconstruction network that integrates a channel-attention mechanism with a randomized PID optimization strategy. By incorporating channel attention into the network architecture, the proposed method effectively alleviated color distortion caused by imbalanced missing rates across different channels. The reconstruction process introduced nonlinear activation functions to enhance the network’s feature representation capability, while the parameter update phase employed a randomized PID optimization mechanism based on historical information to improve convergence speed and training stability. Experimental results on three real-world datasets demonstrate that, under a 40% missing-rate setting, the proposed method achieves an average PSNR improvement of approximately 1.5~6 dB and an SSIM improvement of about 0.03~0.15 compared with several representative algorithms. Moreover, on hyperspectral datasets, the proposed approach improves computational efficiency by more than 20 times compared with deep learning–based methods. These results validate the comprehensive advantages of the proposed method in terms of reconstruction accuracy, color fidelity, and computational efficiency.
