Graph-structured hybrid access control model with context-aware supporting

Abstract

To address the performance deficiencies under high loads and the lack of comprehensive consideration of contextual information in existing access control models, this paper proposed a context-aware graph-structured access control model, G-RABAC. Firstly, G-RABAC integrated the RBAC and ABAC models, visualizing ABAC policies as authorization graphs and defining relationships between roles as specialized subject attributes, thereby facilitating the efficient management of attributes and contextual information. Secondly, this paper constructed an access control framework based on G-RABAC and designed context-based access control decision-making algorithms and risk-aware algorithms to achieve multi-dimensional context-aware access control. On this basis, the paper integrated blockchain with the G-RABAC model, designing a user identity legitimacy verification contract to monitor and process user access behavior through Web3.0 technology, to enhance the security and transparency of access control. Experimental results demonstrate that the G-RABAC model significantly improves the efficiency of access control while maintaining the access control time overhead within 230 ms compared to selected baseline solutions. It can also support secure and fine-grained access control in multi-user concurrent scenarios, with higher flexibility and scalability.
