Time-sensitive network traffic scheduling based on adaptive differential evolution algorithm

Abstract

To ensure the deterministic transmission of time-sensitive traffic in TSN, this paper proposed a traffic scheduling method based on the adaptive differential evolution algorithm. It introduced the link-balance constraint condition. When initializing the population, it monitored the link congestion situation to select paths. The method adjusted parameters through the adaptive algorithm to jointly optimize path selection and traffic scheduling, achieving the minimization of the scheduling completion time. Experimental results verifiy the effectiveness of the algorithm. Compared with multiple algorithms, under different scale traffic, the average scheduling completion time decreases by 10%~25%. Meanwhile, it improves the network resource utilization. The algorithm shows good adaptability and robustness.
