Virtual-real synchronous gesture interaction method for augmented reality robot

Abstract

To address the issues of poor perception, low synchronization accuracy, and low execution efficiency in dynamic human-robot interaction within augmented reality (AR) scenarios, this paper establish an AR-based virtual-real synchronous interaction framework for robots and propose a virtual-real synchronous gesture interaction method. First, it introduce a gesture recognition and virtual-real coordinate mapping method, which utilizes pose parsing and forward/inverse kinematics matrices to map hand gestures to robot joints. This enables bidirectional control for virtual-real synchronization and enhances the system's operability and perception capabilities. Second, it propose a low-pass filtering algorithm based on position vectors to reduce noise interference in virtual-real interactions, improving the smoothness of human-robot interaction. Finally, it develop and experimentally validate a prototype system for robot virtual-real interaction. The experimental results demonstrate that the system controls the maximum error in path adjustment and pose tracking within ±0.01m, verifying the system's applicability and high precision in achieving virtual-real synchronization for robots. This method provides a feasible solution for human-robot interaction applications in future augmented reality systems and holds broad application prospects.
