Abstract

To address the issues of insufficient throughput, poor liveness, and high validation overhead in existing relay-chain cross-chain schemes for cloud-edge-end architectures, this paper proposed a dynamic multi-relay chain scheme named MultiRelay. First, the scheme employed multiple relay chains and a dynamic transaction allocation strategy to process cross-chain transactions in parallel, which enhanced overall system throughput. Second, it proposed a non-interactive random node selection method to improve the liveness of the cross-chain process. Finally, the scheme proposed a cross-chain validation method based on the RSA accumulator to reduce on-chain validation overhead. Experimental results demonstrated that, compared to existing schemes, MultiRelay increased throughput by up to 6 times and reduced transaction latency by up to 70%, providing an innovative cross-chain scheme for complex cloud-edge-end architecture applications involving multi-chain collaboration, featuring both high performance and scalability.
